On May 29th and 30th, CEIPES ETS came to the IISS Stenio high school to invite students to try the LARPIC project’s game for the first time.

LARPIC, which stands for Live Action Role Play to Increase Active Citizenship, is an Erasmus+ project developed with the collaborative efforts of partner associations from all around Europe. Its main objective is to promote youth active citizenship through the use of the role-playing methodology.

In this event, students from different backgrounds came together to try the LARPIC’s game, which utilizes the role-playing methodology to engage participants in a dynamic learning experience. By immersing themselves in various characters and scenarios, students explored complex social issues. Students tackled topics such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and community engagement. This way, the game provided a safe and structured environment for youngsters to express their ideas, debate solutions, and collaborate on finding ways to address real-world challenges.

The success of this event highlights the potential of innovative educational tools like LARPIC’s game to transform the way young people learn about and engage with social issues. As the Erasmus+ project continues to develop and expand, the lessons learned from this event will undoubtedly contribute to further enhancing the game’s impact and reach.
