ABOUT THE PROJECT

The LARPIC – Live Action Role Play to Increase Youth Active Citizenship (Project Number: 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000085665) aim is to increase the willingness of young people to participate in public life. The LARP consists of role-playing games. The game in fact will be the tool through which young people will understand the rules and motivations to get active in the civic and social life of their cities. They will be able to identify their own priorities, goals and needs within society and learn how to pursue their ideals in daily lives. The tool is based on the principles of experience education, where the participants will have experienced themselves (in the safe environment of a game) the impact of their participation (or lack of it) on the society. This innovative approach will help students to self-determination, develop their own social, intercultural skills and critical thinking.

OBJECTIVES

The LARPIC project has two objectives:

  • To encourage young people to participate actively in their own communities, advancing ideas and initiatives.
